The Mid-Autumn Festival abounds with characteristics of Chinese traditions and folk culture. Apart from spectacular lantern displays of different themes at the Mid-Autumn Lantern Carnivals 2024, stage performances by arts groups from the Mainland and elements of intangible cultural heritage such as traditional lantern displays, fire dragon dance and folk craft demonstrations from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao are also featured, showcasing the charm of Chinese culture and celebrating the festival.
